- [S228] Research Notes - Fuller Family, Author: Members of the Fuller Family, Various., In these military orders Colonel Ephraim Doolittle (spelled "Doulittle"in this manuscript copy) instructs Captain Nathan Fuller to seizelivestock from Noodles Island on 30 May 1775. During the Siege ofBoston, American troops occasionally confiscated property to use asprovisions. This particular copy of Doolittle's orders was one of manydocuments assembled by Henry Howell Williams, the property owner whosuffered losses, in the late 1780s when Williams formally petitioned theCommonwealth of Massachusetts for proper compensation.
